Does what it says it will do. I like the fish tank effect. The fish look good. The underwater lighting is less well done, but still ok. I would like to see aquarium sounds and a default aquarium background added in the next update.

I am in the Advanced Settings and everytime I click Apply the application crashes. The changes are saved but it still crashes. I can relaunch the application without issues. Please fix immediately. The fishes are great but the crashes costed you one star. Do more testing. Lost another star because you do not support external monitors.

This $1.99 version is NOT a screensaver, rather an application that runs at all times on top of your desk top (and behind your icons and any open windows). You can manually turn it off and on, so for the price, its pretty good and in a sense could function like a manual screensaver. The fish details and movements are very good and the details of the water at the top of the screen is also very realistic. All in all, you cant go wrong for the price.

Its really good, love the fish but wish there were more of them. I would really like it if there was a parrot fish in the next update.

i wish it would leave my background the way it was

I really enjoy this app, it adds a nice background to my computer, maybe its just me, but the new update doesnt show my wallpaper anymore, just a grey background. If this is a bug PLEASE FIX!!!

This app works perfectly on my Mac Mini, but on my MacBook Pro, the background is grey, not my desktop image. Otherwise a nice app.

the fish looked cool, but when i tried to get the aquarium background to be the desktop background, it didnt work

I tried to make it my wallpaper but i would only show me a grey backgroung, its really sad because its a really nice app and the fact that you cant put your desired backgroung just ruins the app. The fist are cool though...

I’ve been happily using this screen saver since 2006, putting it on each new computer as part of my initial installs. Now I’ve got Mavericks on my new iMac and Mavericks doesn’t seem to allow for this to operate through their own screen saver pref. I’ve set it to use my desktop image, but it’s not recognizing it (grey like other complaints). I’ve set the app as a log-in starter…. a couple of days later: it does do the screen saver thing, but it forgets to put in my wallpaper (I even tried setting up a separate folder for a “random” image that is my desktop). fine tip I re-booted, then it forgot everything, including which fish and it used only the grey background. turned it all off. I’m so disappointed.

I downloaded this thinking it would be nice but a stupid little pop up came up and it wont let you close it, you cant actually set it as your back ground, you can’t delete the app because it wont fricken close, and you can’t turn off your computer because this annoying little piece of poop wont leave. If you value your sanity do NOT download this

ローカライズの不備で起動しないようですので、 1）/アプリケーション/DesktopAquarium3D.appを右クリック、「パッケージの内容を表示」を選択 2) Contents→Resourcesとたどり、English.lprojフォルダをみつける 3) English.lprojフォルダを選択して、Optionキーを押しながらドラッグ、Resourcesの中にドロップしてEnglish.lprojフォルダを複製 この際にユーザのパスワード（Mac AppStoreのパスワードではなくてMac自体にログインするときのパスワードです）が要求されるのでパスワードを入力 4) 複製されたEnglish.lprojフォルダがEnglish.lproj 2としてできあがるので、これを「Japanese.lproj」に名前変更（この際にも３と同じくパスワードが要求されるのでパスワード入力 その後アプリを起動すれば、一応動きます。 ただし、英語環境のUIデータ類を偽の日本語環境のUIデータ類としてまるコピーしただけとなるので、メニューやウィンドウ内の文章はすべて英語のままになります。 === Dear Developer for this app, This app would not be launched in non-English environment. Still have a crash on startup!!!! Even in the safe mode!!! - Mac mini, Mac OS X 10.6.7, Russian localization.

Uninstalling. it failsto start on a first try, so i dont really know if the thing runs. useless waste of time. даже и не запустился на моем mac mini. короче фигня, не тратьте время на нее.

This was fun before lion. It does not work in lion, it just does nothing. Thats my experience and is echoed on bulletin boards. The real question is why on earth Apple doesnt do something to clarify here what works on Lion and what does not. I am afraid to download ANY new apps because Ive no idea what works with Lion…Fortunately this doesnt damage the system, it just does nothing. This ap is fun if you have an older version of OSX.

I hate having unnessary icons in my dock, and this app MUST STAY on in your DOCK while its in use. Developers: Is it possible to make this a menu icon or something? im very dissapointed.
